Full Council meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month, starting at 7.00 p.m., and covering all business except planning issues, which are dealt with at 7.00 p.m. the following evening.

Meetings will be held at the Mevagissey Activity Centre unless otherwise advised.

The dates for 2024 meetings are as follows:

* The February and August meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of the month.
There will be just one meeting in April.

All agendas will be published at least three working days prior to the date of the meeting.

Occasionally, and at the discretion of the Chairman, it may be necessary to call an additional ‘Extraordinary’ meeting, with the agenda being published in the same way.

All agendas will appear on the Parish Council’s website and noticeboards.

The noticeboards are located as follows:

• On the side of the old Post Office

• On the side wall of The Ship Inn (for general notices only).

• On the wall of The Rising Sun Inn, Portmellon

All meetings will include an opportunity for members of the public to make representations and give evidence on any item appearing on the agenda for that meeting. No member of the public may speak for longer than three minutes, at the discretion of the Chairman.

All meetings are advertised as public meetings and as such could be filmed or recorded by broadcasters, the media or members of the public. Please be aware that while every effort is taken to ensure that members of the public are not filmed, we cannot guarantee this, especially if you are speaking or taking an active role.
